IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook

The Yearbook published by the global business school IMD (based in Switzerland) has become a leading annual report on the world’s most competitive economies. The study analyses and ranks a nation’s ability to create and maintain such an environment which sustains the competitiveness of enterprises. Since 2008 the ICEG European Center has been IMD’s partner to cover Hungary. ICEG EC is involved in survey and data gathering part of the process among other international partners. The country assessments are based upon statistical data and questionnaire surveys filled out by business leaders. The ranking data and detailed database of the countries are commonly used by governments, the business and the academic sector throughout the world.
